💡 Training Tip for Your Flock:
When introducing the treadle feeder for the first time, place a small weight (like a brick or a stone) on the pedal for the first 2 or 3 days to keep the lid propped open. This allows your birds to get comfortable eating from the trough. Once they know where the food is, remove the weight, and they will naturally learn to step on the pedal to open it themselves!
