I was hesitant to switch to adjustable dumbbells, but these 24kg units from ITM Fitness have been a total revelation for my home gym. I live in a fairly small apartment, and the fact that one pair replaces 15 individual sets of weights is a massive space-saver.
The dial mechanism is surprisingly smooth. You just sit the dumbbell in the cradle, give the dial a quick twist to your desired weight (anywhere from 2.5kg up to 24kg), and you’re ready to go. It makes supersets and drop-sets so much faster because you aren’t faffing around with screw-on collars or hunting for a different pair of weights.
The build feels very high-quality and the locking mechanism is secure—I’ve used them for overhead presses and rows and never felt any rattling or looseness. The handle also has a nice ergonomic grip that feels comfortable even when you’re pushing the full 24kg. If you want a professional gym setup without the clutter, these are easily the best investment you can make. Fast delivery from the Cork warehouse was the icing on the cake!
