The hot spot tape is placed on each of the polytunnel roof hoops. During the warmer days this helps prevent the cover binding to the steel frame and it prevents wear during windy weather increasing the life of your cover!

The material is good quality but it has no adhesive backing. You’ll have to buy double sided tape separately, or just buy a different product which is self adhesive and save yourself the hassle
